Ultimate edition office 2007, amount of installations?

Ultimate edition office 2007, amount of installations I recently purchased office 2007 ultimate edition, and I found out that you can have it installed on 3 home computers. I have it installed on my desktop, and two laptops. I recently purchased an Hp mini net book so i'm going to sell off one of my laptops.

If uninstall office 2007 on that laptop, can I install office on my new laptop? Or will that 3rd installation be permanently used up by the old laptop even if uninstall it? Number of Installations I think it will. Do be sure to uninstall it from your laptop before you sell it. My understanding is the main difference between business editions and home editions is that the licensing companies want home and student users to be able to purchase and enjoy the products at home and for educational purposes; and the business users, well, they're using the product to help them make money every day.So, the intent of use is different.

I think something like that would be very sophisticated. I do not think they can make it to limit the number of times it can be installed, either - otherwise if you had a problem running their product and needed to reinstall, they'd have to provide some kind of support at little to no cost to the consumer or people would catch on and stop buying it at all.

I think you'll do okay but I would definitely do the moral and ethical thing and uninstall it from the laptop before you sell it, as planned. If you're really fearful, you can always call Microsoft support. You may still be within the period of time they permit for low to no-cost telephone support (if they still offer that).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
