USAmericans: What does "fighting for our Freedom mean"?

Not sure I agree with it but I think it has to do with foreign policy. Some points on foreign policy are: "United State’s pledge of coming to the defense of any nation whose independence was endangered" and "that because the United States had the ability and power to control events in the international system, they should" We are expected to fight for the freedom of our allies as if it were our own. Here is the Kennedy Doctrine which was the "blueprint upon which the future foreign policy initiatives of the administration would later follow and come to represent": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kennedy_Doc...

This question was asked here 5 years ago and I m still asking the same question... think I ll throw it out on face book... should be interesting...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
