The stored procedure has to return the generated ID for the inserted record, i.e. A SELECT SCOPE_IDENTITY() at the end of the sproc if you're using SQL Server.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
