I have done so and will on occasion have a vegetarian meal if the mood strikes me. However, since I've eliminated grains, dairy (except butter) and legumes from my diet, it's difficult for me to feel satisfied on a veg-only meal. I eat a very balanced diet of fruits, nuts, veg, and meat.
Some examples of what I normally eat along with meat: Spaghetti squash sauteed with butter and onions Baked acorn squash with coconut oil & coco milk, salt & pepper Oriental yam, sliced, boiled, fried in coco oil with garlic, salt & pepper (made this last night--yum!) Diced beets with sauteed beet greens, tossed in oil & vinegar, seasoned Steamed veg (broccoli & carrots) with smoked sea salt and ghee.
Of course I can, I eat non-meat meals all the time. I hardly ever have meat during breakfast because it's too much trouble to fix that early in the morning and I'm usually in a rush anyway. I don't really care if I go to a vegetarians friend's house or attend a vegan wedding reception.
But a DRY wedding reception? I would certainly ***** about that.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
