VEGETARIANS/VEGANS: What made you choose to become a vegetarian/vegan?

Since I enjoy most vegetables, I could if it was necessary. I could almost live on sprouts, and I do grow them myself. I usually have a garden each year too.

But I would miss meat.

Vegetarianism is quite understandable and I sometimes eat meals that have no meat in them at all, especially some pasta dishes I make. Veganism is in my opinion just plain stupid. Vegans are the Taliban of the food world.

They need eradicating, just like the Taliban. They are as deluded in their thinking as those who still believe the earth is flat. We are animals, onmivorous animals.

Messing with our natural, pre-designed food intake can only have bad consequences for our health. I broke with one close friend when she turned vegan and made her cat a vegan too; the stupid little cow!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
