I wasn't an iPad fan at the beginning. I've now had a chance to try one out, and I admit that I like it better in person than I thought I would. I guess I'm sort of a semi-convert.It's better than I figured it was, but I'm still not sure I really need to buy one.
It doesn't feel as much like a full computer as I was hoping for. Actually, to be honest, my HTC smartphone seems to have more advanced menus. I want to love the iPad, but the lack of multitasking and a real desktop is what lets me down.
I got one and basically thought it would be like a deluxe iPhone. I was totally unprepared for how amazingly useful the iPad is. Aside from the obvious features, the sheer volume of apps is astounding. In addition, all the apps now feel "right" in their supersized state and its actually a tool I can use to create content as well as consume it.
I have not used my Macbook Air since I got my iPad. Also, I'm amazed at the number of people in the corporate environment who use the iPad.In a recent meeting, 3 out of 4 of us brought iPad to take notes, etc. Its amazing.
When the iPad first came out early in the year I was hesitant to buy one because I couldn't decide if it was a cell phone that was too big or a netbook that was too small. My opinion hasn't really changed even though I've tried one out for about 20 minutes at an Apple store. I played some of the games and visited a few websites but found nothing special.
I know some of the games that were originally developed for the iPhone work better on the iPad due to the ease of use and visibility but I also have an Asus netbook which does almost the same. I still can't rationalize buying an iPad even though it would be cool to carry one around.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
