Were you ever Homecoming King/Queen?

I was shocked. Oh, wait I couldn't even get a date, let alone a crown.No surprise then, I guess. I was the girl that everyone in my large high school knew from one place or another, but never remembered or cared about.

I didn't count for anything. On Valentine's Day there were no rose deliveries for me. I was never nominated for Student Council.

And I know that if it had even been suggested that I was in the running for Homecoming Queen I would've been laughed right off the stage. Man, I hated high school. Good thing I turned out to be fabulous later in life!

Nope I don't think it made any sort of impact on me. Most likely because I went to a really small all girl school - basically, a nice, quiet girl that got along with everyone won...not the girls that "ran the cliques". So I didn't have any ambition to win, it wasn't a popularity contest, and I don't even remember who was nominated at this point.

Just to give some insight as to my class...there were 63 of us...9 went to the reunion.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
