Mmm seems the above quoted website thinks the logitech brand is best at everything! I could find no comparisons they did with other brands, how they would have done so or their 'expertise'(?) How to choose speakers 101. Select a variety of tracks from the style of music\content that you will be mostly listening to.
Also select a couple of tracks of 'other' sources. Find a retailer(s) who have the speakers you are interested in, play YOUR chosen source through the speakers and compare. Select the units YOU prefer.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 'THE BEST' It is YOUR preference that determines YOUR choice. A speaker that someone considers great sounding (with their choice of signal) may sound totally unacceptable to you and yours. LISTEN to them!
Also if you ever wish to compare something you MUST quote model numbers. As the cheapest of one manufacturer WILL sound worst than the most expensive of another!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
