Ritalin and Adderall are drugs that are both prescribed to children who exhibit symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD. In many studies, roughly a third of patients respond to Ritalin, a third to Adderall, with the remainder not responding to either. As such, they are often grouped into the same category of drugs.
While being similar, there are some differences. Be sure to ask these questions of your doctor. Ritalin is usually prescribed to children in the 10 or 20 mg amount, either two or three times a day for 30-40 mg daily total.
Adderall comes in smaller amounts for a single dose between 7.5 mg and 12.5 mg as they have the added effect of being a dopamine inhibitor in addition to an amphetamine.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
