I think it all depends on the person and how they view their childhood experiences. I grew up extremely poor and was in an abusive situation. That said, I decided early on that I would make sure that the things I grew up would not be perpetrated so set about making my life better.
I think I succeeded pretty well though you can never forget where you came from in all honesty. I do believe though that your childhood can make you or break you no matter WHAT kind of childhood it is. Fortunately for me, I think it made me who I am!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
