What are dogs that are intelligent, loyal, large in size and best for guarding the family?

A tiny bit of research would let you know that this is NOT even remotely a breed for a novice dog owner. Also not a breed if you want "loyal". Do more research and if you're stuck on a breed that's unsuitable for you, check on the national breed club website.

All the reputable breeders are members of the national club. By the way, you wouldn't be "adopting", you'd be buying a dog.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
