What are involuntary muscle activities?

Involuntary muscle activities are going on continuously to keep you alive. Your heart, which itself is a muscle, pumps oxygen and nutrients to cells; muscle action pumps lymph through your lymphatic system as part of your immune system; breathing depends on muscles to deliver oxygen; and muscle activity in the skin allows us to sweat and maintain our temperature.
