Let me add one to this list.... its The Expendables movie and I did enjoy this movie a lot. More action is what makes it a fine movie for many. Right now it has hit the big screen and breaking the box office last week.

It's pretty difficult to predict how any movie will perform. However, the most popular movies tend to be ones that try to tell a good story and not try to cash in on a trend or tap into a predetermined audience. While movies like that are often successful, they rarely are the movies you're still talking about at the end of the year.

Last year, the biggest movie of the year was Avatar (coming out just barely in time to qualify as a 2009 movie), which, while it had a derivative plot, offered a unique movie-going experience, and wasn't actually based on any pre-existing franchise. Before that, in 2008, it was the Dark Knight, which took the Batman franchise in an unexpected direction with its unique take on the Joker. Of the movies you have listed there, most are remakes or sequels.

I haven't heard of "I Love You, Phillip Morris," which isn't a good sign, and Knight and Day seems to be a pretty generic action comedy. The one that seems to offer the most interesting premise, and rehashes its source material the least, is "Predators," which is incidentally the only one on that list I'm looking forward to seeing. So if I had to guess I'd say "Predators" may turn out to be the surprise hit of the year.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
