What are some debatable topics I could talk about?

It was just comedy. It was a comedic performance, totally content-free. That's why people of both parties enjoyed it.

And why it will be remembered as the high point of the convention. Ryan's speech was full of lies (even Fox News admitted it!) Romney's speech was full of fluff. At least Eastwood's performance was fun.

As for talking to the empty chair, well it could have held a straw man. 8^) Fox and right wing talk radio love to mischaracterize liberals and Obama. They never have liberals on to give their side of the story.

Fox has liberals you never heard of, and the hosts interrupt them and talk over them and tell them to shut up. Limbaugh never has a liberal on. If he wants you to know what liberals think, he'll tell you himself.

So Eastwood's performance was right in character, 'imagining' what Obama would say, then giving a cute, clever answer. OTOH the Democratic convention had an incredibly great speech by Clinton and a pretty good one by Obama. They didn't need some aged stunt man talking to an empty chair.

8^).

Eastwood was simply showing the Republicans with a mirror what they look like when they are having a discussion with someone of equal intelligence as themselves. The empty chair represented the empty reality that Republicans in their fantasies are relating to with their empty minds.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
