As a Catholic myself, I respect what Muslims' belief in their Allah. I have good Muslim friends until now and basing just on my observations, Muslims do pray a lot while Catholics are not that strict and don't make prayers obligatory to its believers though we are being reminded to pray and to go to church esp. Every Sunday.

We Catholics have images while Muslims have the Ka'ba. We Catholic women (except on monks and nuns) believe on Mother Mary but we don't dress like Mother Mary but religious/real Muslim women do (they also have Mother Mary, I just forgot the name that my Muslim friend mentioned to me – because we used to debate in our university library). We Catholics believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord (as we believe in Trinity) while Muslims believe that Jesus Christ is only a prophet whom they call Mohammad.

There are more differences that I could give here but I would prefer to just give only these as I don’t want to offend anyone. For your question whether Catholics and Muslims could marry without problems, well I have friends who are half-blooded and their parents are doing well despite the differences in faith. And I have learned that the key to success in their marriage is respect because in respect, comes love.

However, it's a big trouble if the man is Catholic (or you've got to be very wealthy to be approved of) and the woman is Muslim because they often don't allow it but for Catholic woman to marry a Muslim man, they are more open to it. In fact, my first cousin's husband is a Muslim and they get along well. And you know, love can move mountains, lol.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
