Not much they are both false religion but the SDA's know the bible much better.
The main differences I know of are: Adventists believe one of their founders, Ellen White, was a prophet and had divinely inspired visions. She wrote books about them, and they hold them in high regards, but do not consider them actual scripture or hold them above the Bible. They basically think they just help people understand the Bible better.
They believe in soul sleep and do not believe humans have immortal souls. They don't believe a person has a soul that survives the death of the body and immediately goes to heaven or hell. They believe that all who have died are sleeping in their graves and know nothing until they are resurrected.
They also believe that the saved are the only ones who will be able to live forever. So they do not believe in eternal torment for the unsaved, they believe in annihilationism. (However, unlike the Jehovah's Witnesses, they do not reject the concept of hellfire completely, they believe there is going to be a literal hell/lake of fire- they just believe it to be more of an event rather than a place, and the people's conscious suffering will only be temporary, it's the death that will be eternal).
They believe in following all ten commandments, including the fourth one, and they believe that Saturday is still the Sabbath, hence their name. They go to church on Saturdays and from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, they do not do any secular activities (no sports, shopping, working, etc.) And obviously they don't follow the pope, and they don't believe in Purgatory, pray to saints, or baptize infants.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
