I feel I am able to answer this question well, I have a son who is 6 and several nieces and nephews from the ages of 1 to 5. First off, Sponge Bob Squarepants is not educational. I don't even want my son watching it.It contains name calling, with a lot of use of the word hate.
It has some other language issues I am not happy with. It enforces hitting and teasing. This is more for adults or older kids in my opinion.
1. Dora The Explorer - Teaches children to be accepting of different cultures and language skills and introduction to Spanish.2. Caillou - Adorable boy who is 4 years old with a younger sister.
Teaches many different things: caring, sharing, shapes, colors, encourages imagination and so forth.3. Team Umizoomi - This is a newer one, but it is very cute and entertaining for kids. Good for teaching shapes and math, along with other things.4.
Yo Gabba Gabba - This show really gets on my nerves! So kids really love it, ha ha.It does touch a lot on an issue I think many shows fall to do. Nutrition and the importance of healthy eating.
Has a lot of music as well.5. Sesame Street - Of course an old time classic. If it's available where you are, which it is not here.. my son love Postman Pat.
It is very diverse, mixing cultures and has some good values.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
