What are some good uses for vacant lots? those in mobile home parks in particular?

Those in mobile home parks in particular. With the banks no longer giving easy credit on mobile homes many lots are coming vacant, or with shabby vacant homes on them and staying that way for many months. What other uses can this land be put to?

Put some sheds on the land, or use the vacant houses. I knew a man that owned several of these houses and when they were too run down to live in, that's what he did. The problem you are going to run into trying to use this land for anything other than its original purpose is Zoning Laws.

You might have to apply for permits to change the way the land is used.It all depends on where you live! Good luck .

Well I live in a Mobile Park community-and what they do is when a single wide of no value is empty they dump it..its moved & discarded. In our park, which is a 5 star park....there are NO dumpy homes...and if lots are vacant, normally a realtor will put in a brand new shiny manufactured home & sit on it until it sells. Sometimes its rent, sometimes its rent to buy.....I have seen brand new homes sit in this park for 2 years, they eventurally sell.3 emptys were just sold in the last 5 months......its extremely hard to get a loan for an older mobilehome.

Mine is a 1972 with a 70,000 remodeling investment.....so it not only looks ne, but it is HUGE! But if we wanted to sell it, no one could get a loan because of its age, so it would be cash or we would have to carry the loan..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
