My kids seem to enjoy a grilled cheese sandwich or a warm fresh croissant that has been nuked in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds and spread with sugar free marmalade or jam (toasted croissants can get a little messy with little kiddies). I have a diabetic child and sometimes I make sugar free muffins, they taste a bit like bread buns with sultanas because I do not put any sugar in the mixture at all but they all really enjoys those too, when they are warmed up. I also use the left over mix from the muffins and make homemade fruit pancakes and they do not need syrup either, my children eat them like biscuits.
Other warm snacks that are sugar free and are great for children as well as easy to make are healthy cuppa soups, warm mashed banana on toast (natural sugars included), a single or half a hot dog without all the heavy sauces, plain popcorn, warm toasted English muffins with a small amount of butter or margerine melted on the top. If you eat meat, many stores sell pre-made flavored chicken (Cajun, BBQ, garlic flavored) strips for sandwiches and salads and many kids enjoy eating them straight out of the packet and they can be nuked for a minute or two minutes if they came straight from the refrigerator. I hope this helps!
Kids are so active in school that whenever they have got the chance, they will spend it for playing. So when they get home, they would always ask for something to eat because their stomachs are craving for food in order to reenergize them again. There are plenty we can give them and one I have found that would appeal to their taste buds is the “Personal Pizza†and so easy and quick to prepare.
Things You Will Need: -whole wheat pita -cheese slices -sliced tomatoes -pizza sauce or catsup -microwave-safe plate -paring knife Instructions: Place the pita on the plate and add cheese and tomatoes on top. Microwave it for 30 seconds. Slice and serve with pizza sauce.
You can also give your kids a chicken macaroni soup or chicken arroz caldo. Please visit these links to try them: pinoyrecipe.net/creamy-macaroni-chicken-... ezinearticles.com/?Filipino-Recipes---Ch....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
