I pretend I'm an amazing rider who wins every single event, and everyone is looking at me and jealous of my wonderful horse. I'd never say anything outloud of course, and none of it is true, but it works for me.
I close my eyes and picture myself winning it, trotting off with a blanket of flowers draped across my mare's flank. I also take big breathes and stroke my horse's mane. It reminds me I am not alone, she is my trusty steed and win or lose, I still love her.
As the run begins, I focus on NOTHING but the run and my horse, because nothing else matters. If you focus on something else, you'll get distracted and mess up. Good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
