I live in the UK so this is a question dear to my heart! The iPad is launched this Saturday 3rd April in the US. - apple.com/pr/library/2010/03/05ipad.html Regrettably the UK will have to wait longer.

A definitive date has not been set yet by Apple but the iPad is widely expected to be available by the end of the month. - telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/7545743... - Source - Daily Telegraph The price is quite high for UK consumers. Early indications are that the basic 16GB model sold for $499 will be sold for between £450 and £499 in the UK.

There has been no official price set, but Apple put this down to the price of doing business in the UK. Many think this will frighten UK consumer off buying the product. It has hard to see with the prices being indicated how the product would be seen as competitive with products such as the Amazon Kindle, the Joojoo and the Wepad. At this point there has been no statement of UK stockists, websites, stores, etc - it is currently too early.

Clearly the product will be available from Apple Stores, where else it will be available in the UK is debatable.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
