What are the best bath towels to purchase?

I love my royal velvet.... They're soft and absorbant, they didn't cost a fortune, and they come in beautiful colors. I have a deep chartreuse in my bathroom, and they just look great. I've had mine for about two years, and they look just as good.

They seem to get beefier the more you wash them.

Egyptian Cotton Towels are the best! The best prices I have found for the Egyptian Cotton Towels is on ebay. You cannot beat Egyptian Cotton.It is soooooooo soft and durable.

Cotton Bamboo Consumer Reports suggests cotton/bamboo mix. I bought some Canning-Vale Egyptian cotton towels about 5 years ago (made in Australia)--they are very soft and absorbent, but I can't find them any more--and the color sure did fade on my light blue ones. I checked Lands End (see Consumer Report info, link is below) but disappointingly, they only currently have 3 colors available (white, ivory and some kind of green, I think).

So now I'm just waiting for more stores to offer the cotton/bamboo towels. I like Gloria Vanderbilt Home purchased from Kohl's. They come in various colors and are very thick. They are top of the line for Kohl's but still affordable.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
