I have an underactive thyroid problem and have to take thyroxine tablets every day in life. Coconut oil and vegetable oil are good for the thyroid. I would always recommend speaking to your doctor as there are two different types of thyroid problems.
Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism. It is important that your GP finds out which you have before you take any remedies. An aunt of mine has taken a natural remedy called "thyromine" for years and swears by it.
Foods containing caffeine are not at all good for thyroid function and should be avoided.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
