I am really looking for sites other than the typical Monster, CareerBuilder, and HotJob-type sites. I am really looking for the ones that are not so obvious and that list solid jobs from good employers who are actually looking to hire marketing professionals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sold in LA at one point in my Career - it's all about networking there It's so much better to know someone in the business where you want to be. I don't think you'll have much luck with Monster or Careerbuilder in marketing anyway. Sources: My answer .
Here's some info about jobs. Hi. I just recently ended up getting a new job, so I know the headache and frustration of trying to find work.
My new job is in business, and I ended up getting it off of the Chicago version of craigslist. The LA one is here: losangeles.craigslist.org/jjj/You'll" rel="nofollow">losangeles.craigslist.org/jjj/You'll need to input relevant information that narrows the search, but I hope that helps. I also managed to get a couple callbacks from the Chicago version of bizjournals.com/losangeles/jobs/advertis... and while marketing.jobs.net/California-LosAngeles.htm wasn't so fruitful for my searching, it may be for yours.
Good luck in your hunt, and I hope this answer at least helps to answer your question. All the best,sm Sources: losangeles.craigslist.org/jjj/ .
You could try the career site of an individual company. They often have boards with plenty of easy-to-search jobs. I know ServiceMaster is hiring in management, including marketing.

1 Please, please can I get some good suggestions instead of ones that state the obvious. It is obvious that L.A. is a hard place to find a job. If you are going to suggest networking, then give solid advice as to whom or what organization that I should network.
I actually heard from a recruiter who spent about 1/2 hour with me giving me good advice and gave me a lead to a solid website. His advice was truly thoughtful and was totally welcomed. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I need to get a job very soon because I am in a difficult financial situation and don't want to hit on my family and friends for money. I would prefer to earn my own, even if I am paid much less than I am worth. Blue Diva Gal .

Got paid 1,0000 cash on several different odd jobs.
If you are on H2B visa and you've been working other jobs (being paid with paychecks)except your ligal job on H2B visa.
Have you tried working 3 jobs and they take 50% from each job.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
