What are the cat breeds to buy for a person with allergies?

I am allergic to cats. You can get an injection to reduce your allergies but I agree a cat that's not provoking your allergies is better. Mainly this is due to cat hair - although you may be allergic to cats for other reasons. So the Sphynx cat (or Donskoy, or Don Sphinx) is the most well known hairless cat.

If that doesn't work for you then there are the hypoallergenic breeds. These breeds have less of the protein that triggers allergies of the nose and sinus. Balinese, Oriental Shorthair, Javanese, Devon Rex, Cornish Rex, Siberian, and Russian Blue.

Contrary to what some people believe, Sphynx Cats are not hypo allergenic. These cats still produce the protein to which allergic people react and shed it in their saliva and dander. The lack of hair may help to reduce the reaction in some people, but others are just as allergic to Sphynx as they are to other cats.

But it is worth visiting a breeder or person who own Sphynx for an hour or so and give it a try!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
