What are the chances the US will go to war with Iran in the near future?

Zero. Before going to war with Iran we would have to either: Forget how poorly the war with Iraq turned out. Win a war elsewhere that makes us overconfident.

Discover some new form of warfare that would work against a country like Iran. None of these things will happen in the near future. If Iran were to attack Israel we would find a way to help short of actual war.

Very slim. A war with Iran would be an awful idea, destructive, and devastating to many. Our current President and Congress is not inclined to use military force.

While Iran's political and social environment is not one the U.S. favors, there is hope that inside the country there are people willing to change it. Hopefully they can find ways to do that non-violently, but if more violence erupts the U.S. should definitely stay out of the conflict.

I think it is very unlikely. There are a few things things affecting this decision. The first is that the U.

S would most likely be in a 3-front war. A two front war usually destroys an empire. Napoleon, WWI, and WW2 to name a few.

A three front war would be suicidal, unless the US uses Nukes, which is very unlikely. There would most likely be a 3 front war because Afghanistan and Iraq are still in the rebuilding process(which is due to United States invasions of those two territories). Both countries are trying to rebuild, but it takes time.It took the U.

S 10 years to build a solid based to build a government off of (Articles of Confederation(1781) was a failure Bill of Rights corrected its faults(1791)). The U. S did not have as much conflict going on internally as Iraq and Afghanistan.

Iran as well has been allegedly been supporting a lot of the alleged terrorist groups that have been giving problems to U. S Troops and Israel Troops.

This is a very small fraction of Iran's military capability. I believe that the U. S knows this and that is one reason as to why the have not invaded.

I am also saying you have to look at the weapons that can actually be used in war. You also have a good chance of the military actually fighting against U. S troops.

Which is something that did not always accrue in Iraq, a lot of soldiers surrendered before a battle took place(this depends on how the people/soldiers feel about the war).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
