Shrimp is havested in the Gulf and southern waters of florida. There are five types of shrimps being consumed . There is the "Pink Shrimp" they are tender and sweet, "white shrimp" is a crunchy tasty meat, "brown shrimp" has a stronger flavor than the white and pink shrimp, "royal red shrimp" it excellent for creating delicious sauces and "rock shrimp" has a sweet taste and a chewy tender texture.

White Shrimp is a wonderful food. It is the most popular seafood consumed in the United States with millions of pounds of it being harvested annually.
