They claim they don't. Like "rape culture," "toxic masculinity" is yet another one of those feminist terms that supposedly doesn't mean what it actually says. "It's not THAT.
You don't understand..." I wonder why they always have to "explain"? Why not choose a term that actually describes what you're driving at? .
Or maybe they have, and are just "explaining" to deny the implications...
Masculity isn't toxic. The over hyped, violent imagery of it is. Also, feminism suggest men should be allowed be to be what is termed as "feminine", and women should be allowed to be "masculine" if they wish to without the fear of being bullied or judged.
PS: The " feminist " idea suggest there isn't a real thing as "masculinity". There are just common virtues like body building, gardening, etc. These shouldn't be slotted on the basis of gender and should be neutrally available for all. :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
