Yerba Mate has a lot of vitamins & minerals that are beneficial to overall health, but I drink it for the energy it gives. The taste is not that great to me so I put lots of lemon in it! It is said to extend your life and reduce your risk of some cancers - probably because of its antioxidant content.
I would recommend drinking several differnt types of teas since they each have their own benefits. Some taste better than others also. Try green, red, white, and black as well as herbal.
There is not enough scientific research to know conclusively whether Mate is healthier or less healthy than green tea. * Mate contains the same chemical, caffeine, which is in green tea. However, there are other chemicals in mate, and in tea, and these chemicals and their relative concentrations differ, creating a somewhat different effect on the mind and body when you drink it.
* I've heard different things. Personally, I find that neither green tea nor mate makes me crash...I also find though that mate provides less of a boost to concentration and is more relaxing, relative to green tea. Coffee, by contrast, makes me crash, and also easily makes me jittery if I drink it too strong.
I think this is probably simply because of the fact that coffee has the most caffeine. * Is Mate bad for you in any way? Yes...there is some evidence that heavy Mate use can cause a variety of problems.
This is true of tea though too...too much of anything can be bad for you. Like most natural drinks, Mate is probably healthy in small or moderate amounts and unhealthy in excess. I actually have researched this topic and provided some sources...if you want more explanation, you can find a good section on the health effects, positive and negative, of Yerba mate, on this article I maintain: ratetea.net/style/yerba-mate/66/ I hope this helps!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
