What are the odds of a big asteroid hitting the earth in the next 100 years?

There are currently 874 near earth asteroids considered to be potentially dangerous, known to cross orbits with the earth or in orbits close enough that they need to be monitored. These are just the ones we know about, the list is being added to constantly as we find them. None of these looks to be headed in our direction anytime soon, but a couple are going to make pretty close passes in the next century.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
