What would you do if an asteroid were headed straight for Earth in the next 24 hours?

I would call Bruce Willis and his entourage to do their damage.

Take out a loan for the cost of a space shuttle to Mars. I could use all of my existing assets as collateral. I would take some of the world's best scientists with me, so that we could find a way to survive on Mars in a shorter period of time.(Haven't we jacked around long enough?) I am now taking applications for passengers from interested parties.

All applications must be accompanied by an $11, 666 deposit. Thank you.

Delete my Facebook account. No, really, I would spend my last hours with the person that I love.

I read about this in my ecology class yesterday (newsfeed.time.com/2010/09/08/two-asteroi...) I have 3 children (aged 6,4,1). If an asteroid were headed our way, and it was big enough to do dinosaur damage, then I would hold my family close to me and love them for as long as I could.

I would play monopoly with my 11 year old daughter. I'd arrange it so she could win and die happy, knowing that she beat her father at monopoly once.

LOL Seriously, I think I will out there and talk to an estranged old friend of mine. If we both have to die, at least we die as friends.

I would somehow get my own private jet chartered for a few days before it hit, so I could run to the other side of the planet and survive. Id take my family, friends, pets ect with me to. Timing and how many know is the key to this, being everyone will take up the transportation resources in the area it's gonna hit.

Beg you to take my answer as the best answer. =.

Take my family memebers out to blow all our money at restaurants and places to go, hey the worlds ending, why not have fun with it :.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
