I am assuming this question is referring to freshman year in an undergraduate degree program. There are several admission requirements which need to be met which can be located on the attached link. A student with a high school diploma and at least a minimum 2.0 in each subject with a SAT and ACT score in the average area should likely be accepted.
Students not meeting all requirements will be reviewed. students.asu.edu/freshman/requirements.
In order to get into botany you will need to get a Doctorate. You will be considered a Ph. D Level Scientist and will have to prove that you have the education and background knowledge to be successful.
You will need to first make sure that the job is for you. It is important to spend some time observing others in the field before making a commitment. Once you have decided to pursue a degree in the field you will need to get into a school with a strong science program.
You should get some research experience while you are going to college. Professors will find it to be useful if they hear that you are gaining valuable experience in the field. Make sure to study and do the best you can on tests and papers.
You will need a good grade point average to compete with other graduates for a Graduate Level Botany Program. In addition, you will need to take the GRE. Take the GRE early so that you have time to retake it if you need to.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
