This is pretty easy to explain since I'm from San Diego. Ocean Beach-Fairly quiet, hippie atmosphere, has a "no surfing" area so you don't have to dodge runaway boards. Has the famous "dog beach" where dogs run free.
Not so good for kids but a great place for 20-70 year olds. Good for surfing/bodyboarding. Not too crowded.
Imperial Beach- Very polluted. I highly advise NOT going in that water at all. Sorry IB, I love you but you stink.
Nice pier though and the surf is ok. Mission Beach- This is usually combined with Mission Bay. Nice for the kids.
Calm waters, lots of parks, not likely to get pulled out by a rip current. Great fun if you love jet skis. Pacific Beach- This is THE beach in San Diego.
They have an amusement park, huge boardwalk, lots of lifeguards, tons of places to drink and eat. It should be everyone's first stop for sure. This place is packed so secure a beach spot early.
LOVE San Diego! DO NOT pass up the chance to go there! Fabulous city!
Be sure to visit Coronado Beach, Mission Beach, and LaJolla. You and your children will love it and make some unforgettable memories! DO NOT miss visiting the San DIego Zoo.
When you need a break from the sun and surf, visit this beautiful, magnificent zoo. You can ride or walk your way through this animal paradise. My grandaughters love it and so do I!
And since you're so close - visit Balboa Park. OK, ok - I'll stop now. I LOVE San Diego and could go on forever. It's a "must see" experience.

The top beaches in San Diego are Silver Strand State Beach, Pacific Beach, Borderfield State Park, Mission Beach, and many others. You can literally be at the edge of our country when visiting Borderfield State Park because it’s on the border between Mexico and the United States. There is a large wall that runs right into the ocean separating these two countries.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
