What are your beliefs about RELIGION and SALVATION? Do you feel that there is a diffference?

Religion" is what one thinks one must do to get to God. "Relationship" is what God has (successfully) done to make a way to us humans. Thus, James says to those already saved, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world" (James 1:27).

These two things, helping the helpless (caring for the widow and orphan) and keeping from sins are the two things religions rarely do. They usually focus on the self because that's what humans want. "Salvation" is a state of rescue from danger.

Where God is concerned, the danger derives from the fact that I've broken God's law and that God MUST judge that. My salvation is from Jesus having accepted that judgment in my stead, so now when God looks at me, He doesn't see a lawbreaker but I'm "saved" from the judgment and other consequences of my willful disobedience by trusting Jesus and what He says about But that trusting Jesus is a relationship, not a religion because I don't do anything. 2 Religion is manmade and keeps you busy with manmade rules and activities. Salvation....is thanking Jesus for saving you by his dying...repent and say sorry and let Jesus be Lord of your life...surrender your life to him. He reconnects you with God.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
