A few super-easy, but always-a-hit ideas CREAMCHEESE & CRABMEAT SPREAD (serve with crackers) If you want a super-simple recipe, try crabmeat & cream cheese with cocktail sauce on top as a spread served with crackers You'll need only 3 ingredients: 8 oz. Pkg. Cream cheese, can of crabmeat, cocktail sauce Bring cream cheese to room temperature, add a can of crabmeat and mix well.
Place in small container, cover and refrigerate. About 15 mins before ready to serve, turn out into bowl, and pour cocktail sauce over the top. Put in center of a nice serving platter and put crackers around it.
Here's another very simple recipe: This is a fun one, and the ingredients will surprise you. Don't let this simple cheese fool you though. Once the seasonings are mixed in and the log is rolled in a combination of luscious, flavorful seasonings, your family or guests will think it's a gourmet cheese.
I guarantee you they would never guess what it really is, and will be asking you for the recipe. This recipe calls for paprika. I recommend a good sweet Hungarian paprika for best flavor.
I use it whenever I need paprika for anything, even if it's just a garnish. CHEESE LOG 16 oz. Pkg.
Velveeta Cheese (makes 2 logs) 2 tbsp garlic powder (or to taste) 1/4+ cup chopped walnuts Equal parts: paprika nutmeg chili powder Directions Bring the cheese to room temperature. In a small bowl put cheese and add garlic powder and chopped walnuts. Mix well.
Divide mixture in half and shape each into approximately 6-inch logs mix paprika, nutmeg & chili powder together and place on waxed paper. Roll each log in spice mixture, making sure to cover completely. Wrap each log in plastic wrap, then in foil and refrigerate.
Take cheese log(s) out about 1/2 hour before serving. NOTE: There's a smaller pkg. Of the cheese if you only want to make one log.
Hope you'll try this one especially.... just because it's different AND inexpensive to make. ENJOY! International Pizza & Hot Shrimp International Pizza: Pita Bread (white or whole wheat) Hummus Salsa Cut a round Pita Bread in 1/8ths Layer with Hummus Top with Salsa (the heat level of your choice) Add a drop or two of hot sauce to each wedge for the chileheads. Hummus: It's better of you make your own but it's time consuming. I buy the packaged stuff and add a little lemon juice and garlic powder.
Or you can buy one of the flavored varieties. If I don’t have time to make my own, I prefer the refrigerated salsa to the jar kind. You may have to drain liquid from that.
Hot Shrimp: Frozen peeled raw shrimp (thawed in fridge then drained) Hot Sauce of your choice Put the hot sauce in a shallow dish. Add the shrimp and toss well to coat. Put the coated shrimp under the broiler until browned, turning once (about 5 minutes).

Some ideas... First, i'l tell you some appetizers that i've had personal experience with. Sausage balls. No, they don't sound fancy or impressive but they are absolutely delicious and it does NOT get any easier.
Your guests will love them and they'll be gone in a flash. These are a must at every single of our family gatherings. INGREDIENTS: 1 pound ground pork sausage 2 cups biscuit baking mix 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded DIRECTIONS: 1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a large bowl, combine sausage, biscuit baking mix and cheese.
Form into walnut size balls and place on baking sheets. 3. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, until golden brown.
Also, i'm sure you've heard of pigs in a blanket. Just take some crescent rolls and mini sausages. Wrap the unbaked rolls around the sausages and then bake them.
Yumm! Another really versitale thing is crostini. You can either buy them or make your own.
If you make your own, just buy a french baguette or something like that. Slice them fairly thin, maybe 1/2 inch to 1 inch thick. Then, put them in a 350 oven until crispy.
The toppings are endless. You can top them with a fresh slice of mozzerella, basil, and tomato. You can top them with pimento cheese, homeade or store bought.
Then ofcourse, you can pair the crostini with some dips. If you do the dips, you can also provide some tortilla chips and dipable veggies. You can buy these or make them.
I'll include a couple of recipes for some. Some good dips are spinich artichoke, various cheese dips, veggie dip, 7 layer dip, guacamole, salsa... http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Seven-Layer-Taco-Dip/Detail.aspx http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_35373,00.html http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_90429,00.html Easy, delicious, and super impressive are bacon wrapped scallops: http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/food/recipes/bacon-wrapped-scallops/ You could also make little quesadilla bites. Just take a tortilla and place it in hot pan with a little oil.
Top with cheese and then other fillings are endless. Maybe chicken, mushrooms, olives, etc. They are also easy to make vegetarian. After you top with the cheese and any other filling, top with another tortilla and flip it.
Once the cheese is melted, take it out of the pan and cut it with a pizza cutter like a pizza, you could probably get 8 slices out of one. You could also do a couple sweet appetizers. Such as pairing fruit with this simple simple dip: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Fruit-Dip-II/Detail.aspx Or, chocolate covered strawberrys!

Start with your frozen foods aisle Seriously, there are some great things in there and usually they don't require much work. Here are some easy appetizers I have used personally: Take a thin crust frozen pizza, bake according to directions and slice into bite-sized squares. Come to think of this, if you did it with a thick crust pizza it might have a more "bready" feel that could also be nice.
Veggies with dip. The carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, pea pods, etc. Can be purchased in the grocery store along with some very nice dips (my grocery store’s generic brand tastes great though I would put it in a different, nicer container) Fresh cheese curds, they pretty much taste the same as regular cheese of their type but I think they lend a different type of feel to an occasion Quesadilla slices. I spelled that wrong but how my family makes them is that we take a tortilla, spread salsa all over it (we usually mix the salsa up in the blender to make it smooth as this works better for this) then grate cheese over it, stick another tortilla on top then microwave for 30-45 seconds until the cheese is melted.
Slice into wedges and serve. The tricky thing about this is that it really does need to be served warm. We’ll also put some more salsa out for dipping Bread slices (particularly bakery specialty type breads) and crackers with a selection of deli meats and some cheeses (particularly specialty cheeses if you can get them) to eat them with.
Mini muffins! Take a regular box of muffin mix, depending on how many people you are expecting you might use a few boxes or a selection of different types, and bake them in small muffin cups (generally available and inexpensive at the grocery store) and bake either according to the directions on the box or at the same temperature as on the box but checking every few minutes to figure out how long it takes them to bake.My mini muffin cups hold approximately a tablespoon of batter. I would also recommend spraying the pan instead of using muffin liners because this will likely be neater at the actual party since you won’t have the muffins sticking to the liners and the liners to be thrown away.

This is easy and everyone loves it.. Melt together 1 pound of velveeta cheese and 1 can of rotel brand tomatoes. Those tomatoes are usually available at most grocerys. Melt for a min or 2 @ a time in your microwave.
Some people drain the tomatoes first. You don't have. The tomatoes come diced so it is very easy.
Serve with corn chips to dip. Have fun! Sources: lots of cooking .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
