What are your five favorite avatars in the Askville community?

There are lots of great ones! I like the ones that are very clear and would look great if blown up larger. My favorites change as new people come in or the regulars "change" their avatar.

One of my favorites is the spinning red ruby of Dede. The grizzley faced boxer of Awarulz is another great choice--but I always assume that he looks like his avatar based on what he has told us of himself! He might be a little Woody Allen type guy for all I know, but I expect him to look like that fighter!

Some other ones that I really like are Spoon110 (spinning dragon in a circle), Chief (the sepia-toned Native American), and prettyface123 (the muppet character). It’s all a matter of taste. I like bold, clear, and strong design.

I just figured out your avatar by blowing it up big! That’s a nice cat! I thought there might be cat in it!

But in the small version it’s hard to see it. I would crop it a bit so that the cat looks larger in that tiny box and then we could see it better! Fun question!

There are so many good ones that it is hard to choose but here goes. I love the Spam pill so that would be number 1. Then awarulz in 2nd, Poppet 3rd, Eddie 4th and Prettyface comes in at number five.

I loved the Spamosaurus In one of Spamgirl's incarnation she had a galloping dinosaur, the Spamosaurus I presume. I loved it. I also like Poppet's, Awarulz's, Phneugling's and Karlchwe's.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
