What are your good or bad experiences with Siberian cats if you or a friend are a cat allergy sufferer?

Dad My dad was allergic to pretty much all cats. The only one he could tolerate (allergy-wise) was a Siberian we house-sat for one entire summer. He still got sniffles and red eyes after 90 minutes or so in the same room, but he had no problems being in the house with her.

We didn't know why until the recent stories about them and FelD! I would suggest trying one out, seeing whether it might work, but going in with your eyes open. It's not likely to be a complete fix, but it is almost certainly going to be the best of the alternatives.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
