I'm in the middle of The storian by Elizabeth Kostova and it is quite good and rather suspenseful!
I also loved the Lost Symbol. You can't go wrong with Dan Brown, I get excited whenever he has a new book released!
Townie, the personal memoir of Andre Dubus III. He captured my attention many years ago with House of Sand and Fog. Townie is a painfully honest memoir.
I just finished The Sand Reckoner by Gillian Bradshaw. Much to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it. I generally like reading biographies about famous people, especially if they're in fictitious form--historical fiction.
I just finished J.R. Ward's Dark Lover. Really, really loved it!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
