He was subsequently fired for lying in reports The officer lied in his report and I told my lawyer at the time. He said the judge would believe the officer over me(I was only 19 at the time). I went Section 17 and ARD for the charges lodged against me.
It was later reported in the local paper that his officer was fired for lying in other police reports. I want to know if I can file a complaint and have the charges wiped from my record. You'd have to go to court, possible to the same judge, and find all the paperwork to petition a reversal of sentencing. You will likely spend considerable time in the courthouse finding, getting, and completing all the relevant paperwork, which is why people hire lawyers. You very well might want to do that, and if you do, you'll likely end up filing a lawsuit against the officer or his department to recover the money you'll be spending fixing this..
1 Of course you can file a complaint, but the charges will not be wiped from your record unless you can prove that he lied in your case, too. This user has been banned from Askville.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
