The life of military personnel is entirely different as compared to civilians. They are bound to work for 24 hours and come home only on annual leave or casual leave. Your association with such person is very hard to fulfill.

If you have a true feeling for your military friend, you can keep in touch with him through exchange of letters, emails, and telephones. You can pass the time remembering the past moments you spent with him. This much will of course help you till he comes home.

Write a lot of questions on Hubpages. I'll answer some. Other than that, go on YouTube.As for your friend, when he comes home, buy him many beers and watch sports.

Send him letters. That way, you're not just waiting. You're sending your love and letting him know how much you appreciate what he is doing for you and your country.
