What causes disease? According to religion and science? Which one you believe?

Religion says that it's invisible demons employed by the Devil to pester you with inconvenience. Live long and prosper.

Nature does. Science discovers and tries to resolve the issue while religion can do nothing to create a disease of any type.

I think all science leads to philosophy. So it'll have to be religion.

Early man, prehistoric, believed that bad Spirits were the cause of disease. They often did a nasty 'operation' called Trephining, which meant drilling a hole into someone's head, to release the evil Spirits. This was long before the concept of a god was even created though.

God considers lying, stealing, fornicating, keeping grudges as sin. Therefore: 1. Grudges - a 2011 aticle from CBN revealed that a Dr. Michael Barry research on cancer patients revealed about 61 percent had trouble forgiving.

More than half had a severe problem. In medical literature, unforgiveness is classified as a disease, which is defined as some process that overwhelms normal function. 2.

Fornication - self explanatory i. E sexually transmitted dieseas 3. Lying - people lie and have to tell more lies to cover up the first lie.

People lie about their relationships, illness and sometimes pass it on to others.

The way of a person's life, lifestyle, and culture.

Science does not know what causes Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia and so many others. It only states that risk increases for a variety of reasons starting from genetics to lifestyles and bacteria. So nothing is certain.

Improving cleanliness and hygiene has eliminated many epidemics of the past because that eliminated the infections caused by bacteria. Religion does not speak much about what causes disease. Just a vague hint of psychosomatic reasons. It identifies the sins as causing many diseases especially sex related ones and emotions like anger etc. These have been well documented by both religion and science.

I tend to believe both depending on the particular case.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
