What color granite? I have white cabinets, painted kitchen "Afterglow"(sherwin williams)and have a tan/caramel/brown?tile?

I have all white cabinets, painted kitchen "Afterglow"(sherwin williams)and have a tan/carmel/yellow toned tile. You are able to see the living room through the kitchen. The furniture is yellow!

Yes it is modern style scan design very contemporary style. I am trying to go for a southwestern look but may be selling my house in the future. I DO NOT want black granite.

Every time I see white cabinets I see black granite. I don't like dark solid granite. I need help!

Match the floor. What about matching the floor, in a warm tone of beige, white and gold flecks. It would be a contrast to your cabinets and make it warmer.

Also you could just do a plain brown without any other colors in it. I love to decorate and everything has to match or I'm not happy! The beige would also match your furniture well.It's also practical to go with a neutral color in big ticket items and then add color to your inexpensive accents.

There are lovely granites in swirls of brown. That might work. Go to the "granite store" and look around.

Look at a Mediterranean color chart and see what similar colors are available in the granite choices.

The reason you see black granite used with white cabinets is that it allows you to use any colors that become popular now or in the future to accent the kitchen. It remains current. Just stay in the warm tones and you'll be fine.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
