What color shoes other than black can I wear with a black dress?

I'm not a fashion expert, but I think that if you match your shoes to your accessories you can wear almost any color. Black and red are stunning, and black and pink gives a kindof retro feel. Metallic silver or bronze would look great, too, for an elegant occasion.
