What do hits from askville look like on mturk? What is the description called? How does the drawing for $1695 work?

I am fully aware that by aswering questions through the askville interface, I receive only a coin payout. I have registered with mturk but have not been able to find any questions that state they are from askville. What is the description of these?

Do you get to choose any question on askville which has been waiting at least 4 hours for an answer? Can you answer as many as you want? How does the drawing for $1695 work?

How often does it take place? Asked by dwdrums 57 months ago Similar questions: hits askville mturk description called drawing $1695 work Amazon > Askville.

They're called NowNow hits there, not Askville, the 2 cent ones. See the answer below They're not listed as Askville Questions, but as NowNow questions. The only difference is that the NowNow questions pay three cents and have no keywords yet, operative word "yet" as they're always tinkering, and the ones that come over from Askville are two cents and have keywords listed.

Sign into your MTurk account. The account, not the message board dedicated to it. Click on dashboard and enter the key words "research question" where it says "Search for HITS containing..." in the blue block of print at the top.

Click on "go" to the far right. This will take you to any available hits. There are currently 14 Askville questions there (again, they're all labeled NowNow, so look for the payment and the 2 centers are Askville Q's).

One Askville question that comes up right now is: Question: Are there any free java libraries for internet browser? I'm looking for free java library for web browsing. I tried JRex but it doesn't remember the current sessions.

Are there any java API for internet browser like IHTMLDocument interface in C? Keywords: java, software, computers, internet Answer #1: (THIS IS WHERE YOU TYPE IN YOUR SOURCE) Enter a webpage url or say it is your opinion: It's okay to give your opinion so long as you explain your answer clearly and state that it is your opinion. Summarize your Answer in One Line: (THIS IS AKIN TO THE SUBJECT LINE IN ASKVILLE) You MUST provide the answer in the summary text box and the detail text box.DO NOT provide just a website link as your answer.

There is a 120 character limit to your summary. Provide Additional Details: (A BIG BOX FOLLOWS THIS WHERE YOU TYPE YOUR ANSWER) Try to provide as much detail as possible. The more comprehensive your answer the more likely you will get a "great answer" vote.

Always provide phone numbers and addresses when you are providing local information about stores, restaurants, businesses. There is a 10000 character limit to your answer. Anything above that limit will be ignored.

To answer the rest of your questions, all for the price of one, uh, free, you have to pick from what comes up on MTurk, not what you can see on Askville. Many of the most successful Turkers never look at the Askville interface, just what you'll see following this process above, so what's on the list on Askville may not be what you'll see on MTurk. Why?

I have no clue. If I did, Jeff Bezos might give me job, but that's unlikely since I know zilch about programming. You can certainly answer as many as you can snag via MTurk, but only one at a time.

Remember, there is a time limit, too. That will show up on the list visible after you click "on" go. I've seen everything from sixty minutes to twenty, so make sure you know which it is before you start answering because they don't give you one second over the max time.

Then you wait, and frequently wait and wait for votes to come in. Remember, there are dozens and dozens of other folks doing this, too, so competition is fierce. I wouldn't be surprised if the top winners every week (that's how often the prizes are rewarded) do hundreds of these questions, so count on being very busy if you even hope to break into the top thirty.

There is no drawing. The people who submit the most questions and get the most best answers win. Thirty people out of the hundreds that answer get a reward.

Given that many question askers never vote, it isn't an easy task to break into the top 30, either, without doing tons of questions and, quite frankly, there haven't been tons of questions lately to answer. For those who don't break into the top 30, your only reward is the 2-3 cents paid and even then only if your answer is accepted. There is no guarantee it will be.

There, I think I answered everything. Hope I'm making more sense than I obviously must have in my previous answer. Sources: Just me again .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
