What do you feel is pertinent to know about life after death while still alive?

Is there another life after this one, and if so do you get to choose what to become such as reincarnation. I always wondered what it would feel like as well, but it appears as if there will be no feelings left once your gone.

That's a tough one, I think each hub I release on here is attempting to do just that, in some odd way or another. As if I was writing an autobiography using hubpages to fulfill some of my dieing wishes, especially the ones I write that are inspirational to many.

I guess I would write a hub that tops them all, when it comes to my life and the many themes of love I've been taught by my Mom as a child, telling all the deepest truths, that I'm sure many people shy away from sharing on here about themselves.

In hopes it would help humanity see a uniquely differing perspective on this thing they call life "before death".

I have a firm belief that there is a continuation of life in some form after our physical death. I don't know exactly what that is going to be like but I'm content that it will happen. I've had enough experiences in my life to convince me of that.

Nothing. What happens after we die is - FOR NOW - irrelevant. You live your life as best you can, and then you die, and then you find out what happens.

If there's an afterlife, great! If there's not, you won't know it. In the meantime, live your life as best you can, and do as the Christmas song says, "Be good for goodness' sake.

If you believe in heaven and hell, then I'm sure that an almighty being capable of creating the universe would be able to see inside your soul to your motives, and the way I figure it, either you have a loving heart and deserve to go to heaven, or you don't. If you don't believe in heaven and hell, that when we die our souls go to a higher plane or are reincarnated or whatever, there's not much you can do about it except live your life as best you can.

Yes, of course we should strive to become the most spiritually sophisticated people we can, but to do that we shouldn't think of the afterlife, and put more value on it, than the now-life. Whether our lives are gifts from God or just a brief period in cosmic evolutionary soup, it is meant to be lived. It can NOT be lived fully if you believe that it is not important, not AS important as your before-live or after-life.

Well, being a spiritist, I do believe in reincarnation. Basically, after the spirit disincarnate, it has the chance to review lessons learned and what is still to be learned once it was not accomplished during the last life. Oversimplifying the concept, earth is our school and while the lessons are not learned, the spirit will come back to have another chance to make it right.

A spiritist is usually a firmer believer of taking all the chances in the current life to make as much right as possible. It helps to elevate and enrich the soul helping the transition and preparing for - Graduation day! :).

In my view, the spirit is always alive somehow, so this belief gives a different perspective of death and life after death.

Don't worry about it. So many people become preoccupied with their own mortality that they forget to live their lives while alive. Death is a natural part of life.

Don't give it any more thought than breathing or going to the bathroom.

I firmly believe that there will be a judgement day after death. My last words would be "God, forgive and forget who I've been".

No. Would it be interesting and comforting?Absolutely. I'm sure most people would like to have confirmation that there is something after life...the reality is we have to have faith that there is, right?!

:).

If you die without Jesus Christ, you will spend eternity in Hell. I am not being mean, and I am not looking to make people mad, but it is the truth. Those who have trusted in Jesus Christ will go to Heaven to live forever.

I do not wish for anyone to die without trusting in Christ. Visit my profile and hubs for more information.

" Everything else in the big scheme is so minor.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
