That's what I've been saying for years. Most minimum wage jobs can ALREADY be done by machines. But at $7.25 an hour, it is cheaper to pay humans to do it.
At $15.00 an hour, it will be cheaper to let machines do it. $15.00 an hour = massive replacement of humans in the workplace by machines. It's that simple.
You needn't bother arguing if this is "right" or not. Or whether it is "cold-hearted". It ISN'T right!
It IS cold-hearted. And it will happen all the same if the minimum wage is raised above 8 or 9 dollars an hour.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
