I figured that out this last year. I thought my purpose was to be a teacher. I used to teach but when I was using more discipline skills than teaching skills, I quit.
I got a office job and searched to see what else I could do. But now I realize, my purpose is to be a great Wife and Mom! I believe, we were created to be in relationships, and now that I am married and have a child, I realize I am doing just what I am here to do.As you can see from my name, I'm a happy_mom!
Sources: My OPINIONS .
I used to wonder, until I had kids. They are the reason I was put on this earth. I used to be the gal that swore she would never get married and certainly never have children.
Bam! I met the man of my dreams. I mean I knew from the moment I met him, he was the one.Issue...he has a son from a previous marriage.
OK, so I got married and was helping raise someone else's child but I was NEVER having children of my own. Ever! Bam!
I hit 30 and wanted a baby NOW! I was terrified through my first pregnancy. If anyone was the anti mom, it was me.
I mean I could count the times I had held a baby on one hand and not think of any of those occasions with a smile. I wanted a baby so badly but I thought I would be a terrible mom. Then my 1st son came along and it was a miracle.2 1/2 years later my second son came along.
Another miracle. My life up until those moments was designed to put those two little boys on this planet. My life from here on is to give those boys the tools they need to be the men they are meant to be.
When each of my boys was born I made them a promise. "I can't keep bad things from happening in your life, and wouldn't if I could. Those things are too important to our growth.
I can promise that you won't face those times alone. " .
To glorify God and enjoy As a Christian I believe we as human beings are all created in God's image - Genesis 1:26-27 and as s creatures it is our purpose to glorify This is indeed a wonderful calling that makes life extremely exciting. I believed I have served my purpose to a degree - FAR FROM PERFECTLY - yet I am not finished either. Ephesians 2:10 says "we are .." created unto good works .. etc... The Greek word translated workmanship is an artistic term meaning we are God's work of art, The verse, I believe speaks to inviduals as well as Christ's church as a body - so each person has a special gift of ability by which he may shine for God and yet all fit within the larger workmanship that appears when you get a general glimpse of what God may do with a church or a group of unified churches.
I believe people can have subordinate purposes ... obviously being a good spouse, a good father or mother, a good employee, even a good singer or dancer - all these things can be done to the glory of God. I believe coach Dungy believed he coached his Colts team - to the glory of God. So these subordinate (other wise secular) purposes become sanctified!
Paul says in First Corinthians 10:31 "Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Even mundane activites can be done with this grand purpose in sight and should be! I myself am a pastor and I have found my position to be the least boring / most exciting calling I could imagine ... no day is ever the same, involvement in God's word and involvement in people's lives is thoroughly fulfilling!
I am not saying easy ... no, but God is in even the trials! You know it might be said that the main difference between an ordeal and an adventure is the beautiful girl, yet the difference between a mundane and exciting life for me is God.
Blame it on my parents. They did it. The usual way.
1 When I was in college I had a philosophy prof. Who started a semester with statements like these ... He said questions like "what is the meaning of life? " "Is there a God / god?" "Why are we here?
" were "BEER QUESTIONS" He said they were things you talked about at a bar and not important to "real life. " I believe he was "dead wrong." Yet, I wonder what you all think, are questions like "Why are you here?
" "What is your purpose here on earth? " Are these vitally important to you or are they just "beer questions?" .

Am not looking for religious beliefs here. " "What purpose does the centipede serve on this earth? I know spiders kill smaller insects, WHY CAN'T CENTIPEDES JUST DIE!
" "how old is the earth? " "Is Askville a society?" "Should I give up on society? " "What is YOUR purpose for being here,on this planet,we call,"Earth?
"" "What is the purpose of the second earth?" "Why is our society so messed up?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
