I don't think there is a reason why we are here... Like any other species. But our purpose could be just living, creating a good life for ourselves, taking care of the Earth, helping our fellow man and some people are not doing that...

I have research the human egoistic claim to...have a purpose! Apparently, only christians and other people who don't read much appear to have such a purpose. Those of us who read above the 4th grade level...know better.

Exploration and observation, but surely you know that! We're here checking on these primitive carbon-based life forms and trying to insure that they don't completely ruin this planet and make it unlivable. Can you imagine the mess that would be created if they let this global warming get completely out of hand and ruined the atmosphere?

It would take us forever to transport people to other suitable worlds! At least though, we would help them solve the problem about what to do with criminals and terrorists - we could leave them here, but even so it would take so long to re-locate these beings to other worlds, we should have started yesterday! Then, I suppose they'd go about mucking up those planets like they did this one - having not learned a thing!

And to think, they showed so much promise about 400,000 years ago or so - what happened? .

First of all,I agree, these "humans", do not know how to care for this planet,correctly. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
