First, it wasn't in a news room. It was on location, while interviewing someone. As for the "hate crime" reference, some people are sick and tired of some others always claiming it to be a "hate crime" when a White person shoots a Black person, so they turn it around for this.
The reality is that this was a vengeance shooting. The "alleged" shooter was a former employee of the TV satiation that was fired a couple years ago, and supposedly was taking it out on the reporter and her cameraman. That's all it was.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
