They have no clue what caused the meltdown or they would all be in DC. The banks do what government has them do according to their legislation. Even if the banks lobbied for those measures, it was the government that caved into them.
Protesting the banks for reform is like protesting the banks for tax reform. Its ludicrous.
I heard one reason why they are "protesting Wall Street" is that it is not only practical in their minds, but it is also symbolic. They do blame the governments, I have watched just about every video on there and I have heard MANY different wants. And they turn them back on the government, and also I believe they meant that the government bailed the corporations out.
In a way, I think they are protesting the government, but there are so many doing it there is not only one agenda. In my mind, my opinion is that at least someone is saying something. At least there is this.
Maybe it will slowly evolve into something even better, in truth, who knows? I don't, and no one knows. Also, I haven't heard of any of them "gaining support from the Nazi party, the Socialist Party, Communist China, defecating on police cars, littering and destroying park property", but you know.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
